Villa Penasco is located in the gated community of Pedregal de Cabo San
Lucas, which is walking distance to town. The house is high on a cliff
with magnificent sunrise and sunset views. Guests will also experience
vast and beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and Land's End where the
Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez.
With three fabulous beaches nearby, Villa Penasco is perfectly located.
Pedregal Beach, Solmar Beach and Medano Beach are all within a five minute
drive from the villa.
There are 5 bedrooms all with full marble baths, private terraces and
breathtaking views.
Each bedroom is equipped with TV, DVD, VCR, CD, small refrigerator,
telephone, internet access, wall safes and spa robes.
The large living room has magnificent views and extensive seating.
There are three large, four-seat leather sofas, multiple armchairs and two
rocking chairs. A large stone fireplace complements the grand, yet
comfortable room. Built-in furniture on either side of the stone fireplace
houses a large screen television and stereo system. Speakers for the
stereo are located throughout the living room and terrace areas. Like the
Dining Room, the Living Room opens fully to the main terrace.
The expansive main terrace has magnificent views in many directions
including a spectacular view of the renowned Lands End rocks where the
Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. There is plenty of outdoor lounging
and seating. For those seeking a break from the direct sun, there is a
large tropical palapa that provides shade while allowing the ever-present
cliff breezes to cool and refresh. Should the evenings be cool, fleece
throws can be found in the terrace supply closet. Off to the side of the
terrace, Villa Peñasco has an outdoor barbecue/bar area that is equipped
with a 50” Viking Barbecue and two large side burners. The pergola-covered
area also has a refrigerator, ice maker, sink and built-in ice tub for
icing beer or other soft drinks. The countertops are polished granite.
The heated pool is 5 ft deep with a shallow area for lounging. It has
an infinity edge with waterfall. Both the pool and the Hot Tub have
extraordinary views. Pool floats are available. Beach Towels are located
in the towel baskets on the terrace or in the outdoor supply closet on the
main terrace.
The Boardroom is located on the 2cd level in the West Wing. The room
can function as a mini cinema, a conference room and/or extra bedroom. It
has a full bath, built-in snack/coffee break station complete with
refrigerator, icemaker, microwave oven and coffee maker. The room is
equipped with a 52” Built-in television with DVD and VCR and a full stereo
system. For guest use, there is a Computer Station located in a cubby of
the Boardroom. The computer is a state-of-the art Gateway computer with a
Windows® XP Home Operating System and Microsoft® Office 2003 Small
Business Software. The station includes a 17” flat panel monitor, HP
DeskJet printer, and high-speed Internet access.
The dining room can seat up to 16 people. Two exquisite square dining
tables can be set separately or together as one large table. A large,
decorative mirror on one wall reflects the views of Lands End and the
Pacific Ocean. The dining room has magnificent views and opens fully to
the main terrace.
The Fitness Room is located on the Lower East Level of the house and
offers a variety of high performance machines. The room is equipped with a
large television with DVD and stereo and a mirrored wall. The machines
include: A BodyGuard Treadmill, a Schwinn Elliptical Crosstrainer, a
Schwinn Recumbent Bicycle, a Hoist Multi-purpose Weight Machine with
double benches and a separate bench with free weights. There are also yoga
and Pilates mats. The room also has a full supply of Fitness Towels and a
water cooler.
