While staying at La Paila explore the teak plantation, ride horses on the beach or go deep sea fishing. You might choose to use the villa as a secluded retreat for pure R & R, and/or as a home base to explore the rain forests, visit the Mt. Arenal volcano, and pursue the Guanacaste Peninsula's many "Eco-tourism" opportunities, including several canopy ride venues.
La Paila is located on the Pacific side of Costa Rica on the Guanacaste Peninsula. The resort is north of Playa Carrillo on Bosque Carrillo, a working teak plantation. La Paila is only three miles from the village of Samara, and approximately 10 miles from the town of Nicoya.
