Cayman Castle is a recently renovated 4BR/4.5BA oceanfront luxury villa
located on the East End bluffs of Grand Cayman. This very private estate
offers guests 500 feet of beach and the best panoramic views on Grand
Cayman. The Castle can sleep 12 people (10 adults max).
The living room & 40' wide second floor balcony overlook the East End
reef, infinity pool & decks. This home has an unbelievable view of the
Caribbean Sea, and a level of privacy offered by no other rental villa on
the island. The entire 2 acre oceanfront estate is walled & gated from the
road. The rocky peninsula in front of the Castle and the private home to
the South prevent casual passersby from walking on your beach. The
protective reef is almost a mile offshore, which creates a wonderful
lagoon full of calmer water for boating, snorkeling, scuba, windsurfing
and other water sports.
For the guests seated on the underwater tiled bench, the seaside edge
of the pool appears to vanish seamlessly into the sapphire-blue Caribbean
just beyond the reef. The shade of the balcony above offers swimmers
sitting on the bench a break from the afternoon sun.
The Castle itself measures 5,500 sq. ft. Each of the 4 bedrooms offers
en-suite bathrooms and central air-conditioning. The second floor offers a
very large family room/TV Area/kitchen and private 600 sq. ft. sun-deck
terrace with panoramic views. Crimson bougainvillea in the planters make a
nice contrast against the sage green stucco exterior.
CAYMAN GUESTHOUSE
The Castle Guesthouse was recently built (2005) on the 2+ acre
oceanfront estate of Cayman Castle; one of the premier oceanfront rental
villas on the island of Grand Cayman (British West Indies). The guesthouse
was built with the same architectural theme, finishes and amenities as
Cayman Castle itself. In addition to separate utilities; Castle Guesthouse
has its own street entrance, multiple off-street parking areas, heated
(Winter '05) swimming pool and Satellite TV system. It is a perfect
intimate retreat for two couples, a small family or as additional lodging
for a large family leasing the castle itself. We do offer it for separate
rental.
The East End of Grand Cayman offers postcard views of the
reef-protected sapphire-blue waters, the best diving/snorkeling in the
Western Caribbean and the absence of the crowds and commercialism of 7
Mile Beach. While the guesthouse has air conditioning, the tradewinds keep
the climate comfortable (and usually bug free) even in the warmer Summer
months. During the winter months many of our guests at Cayman Castle and
Cayman Sands open the french doors and/or bedroom transom windows for
ventilation and to hear the waves breaking on the shore while they fall
asleep, as the winter night-time lows can be in the low 70's.
